Dead Duck ArtworkTom and Rosie miraculously revive their favourite duck from drowning. The grateful duck follows them everywhere, even to Tom’s school in London, where he is the much-loved caretaker. DD (Dead Duck as Tom calls him) makes friends with Emily, Chair of the School Council. She is the only person that can hear DD speak. Tom wants to retire to Cornwall but he is not old enough. He decides to stop cleaning the school so that the Head will let him go. DD and the School Council, ensure that the school remains spotlessly clean so that Tom does not lose his excellent reputation. Based on a true duck revival story.
