Squirrel to the rescue, when boy and girl go missing.
When Hansel and Gretel’s father remarries, their new child-hating, money-grabbing Mother does everything she can to get rid of them.
A friendly squirrel looks out for them when they are lost in the woods. The children get themselves in deep water when they discover a Witch’s house made of delicious sweets that they just can’t resist tucking in to.
The evil Witch makes Gretel her slave and fattens the poor boy for her dinner but the squirrel sees all and alerts their father for a fairytale happy ending.
